This book is about a boy and his friend called Aman and he tells a story about a dog called Shadow. He also talks about what he did in his life. Like he once lived in a cave with his grandma, and mother because they were so poor. The dog, called Shadow, is Aman's friend and Shadow shows the way to his uncles place to live. But on the way people steal things from them like there water, and food.
